The present era we are is called the jet age. Technology is spreading so wide in order to culminate an easy living and comfort. In this era of ours, we can’t put out the act of sending/receiving mails.     One of the most used and inevitable peripherals that are used in file storage in the globe today are memory cards and usb flash drives. They aid us in conveying our information and most times our secrets to wherever our feet could reach as they are of pocket sizes and could also be hung around the neck.

 HOW TO DETECT A FAKE USB DRIVE

   1.    Download usbtest

   2.    Extract the zip file to your desktop for easy access

   3.    Insert the desired pendrive into the usb slot on your computer

   4.    Format the inserted usb drive

   5.    Then, locate the extracted file in step 2, double click on the .EXE file

   6.    From the language options, select English as your preferred language so as to understand it's contents

   7.    Select the preferred drive to be verified and immediately the drive is selected, the available space would be detected.

   8.    Click on the “write + verify button and wait for some minutes as it checks your usb drive for errors.

     Install WhatsApp on all Nokia S40 (Java) phones

           When completed. A message would be displayed, revealing the status of your usb drive, if it’s error free or not.  If error free, it is original but if error detected then it’s fake.

 ð Download and install the vlc media player(2.0.2) on its default storage location(i.e do not alter the storage location when installing) if not present on your PC already

 ð Set the vlc player as the default media player

 ð Extract the downloaded super sport Tv enabler to a special folder on your desktop for easy location

 ð On the extracted file, right click on the ssld icon and click on Run as administrator.

 ð When runned, select from the options, the desired event to be streamed.

 ð Wait a while for it to automatically pop open the vlc player and starts streaming after a little buffering.

WORLD'S FIRST 3D PRINTED BATTERY- AS THIN AS THE WIDTH OF A HUMAN HAIR

From a group of scientists at Harvard university end the university of illinios emerged a team led by Jennifer A Lewis and Shen Dillon that constructed the first 3D-printed battery. It is capable of powering up wearable electronics, drones and insect like robots.

  The 3D-printed lithium-ion batteries measured at 0.03mm width were composed of stacks of electrodes that are less the width of a human hair. The nano-particles from lithium metal-oxide compound was squeezed into a narrow nozzle to solidify and finally packaged into small containers containing an electrolyte solution.

3D PRINTED EAR Assistant professor of material science and engineering, Shen Dillon, who also partnered with Jennifer Lewis in making the 3D lithium-ion battery a reality stated in Havard school of engineering and applied science’s website  that although the product was constructed in a small quantity, it’s electrochemical performance could be compared to commercial batteries in terms of charge and discharge rate, life cycle and energy densities.

  

With the recent innovations of 3D-printed objects, the possibility of having the sizes of large objects slashed down to tiny items that could be easily slipped into a safe purse is high but the question is would they be at an affordable rate due to the cost of production?

I am awaiting the next 3D-printed object to be unveiled. Guess it would be a transformer!
