=> How to make a BOLD text in WhatsApp:

 I have been a victim so many times, until i came across a specific application that could detect the exact amount of disk space a usb drive entails and also check for errors. I make use of this app in confirming my the disk space of every usb drive that is purchased from me.

 HOW TO DETECT A FAKE USB DRIVE

   1.    Download usbtest

   2.    Extract the zip file to your desktop for easy access

   3.    Insert the desired pendrive into the usb slot on your computer

   4.    Format the inserted usb drive

   5.    Then, locate the extracted file in step 2, double click on the .EXE file

   6.    From the language options, select English as your preferred language so as to understand it's contents

   7.    Select the preferred drive to be verified and immediately the drive is selected, the available space would be detected.

   8.    Click on the “write + verify button and wait for some minutes as it checks your usb drive for errors.

     Install WhatsApp on all Nokia S40 (Java) phones

           When completed. A message would be displayed, revealing the status of your usb drive, if it’s error free or not.  If error free, it is original but if error detected then it’s fake.

 ð Download and install the vlc media player(2.0.2) on its default storage location(i.e do not alter the storage location when installing) if not present on your PC already

 ð Set the vlc player as the default media player

 ð Extract the downloaded super sport Tv enabler to a special folder on your desktop for easy location

 ð On the extracted file, right click on the ssld icon and click on Run as administrator.

 ð When runned, select from the options, the desired event to be streamed.

 ð Wait a while for it to automatically pop open the vlc player and starts streaming after a little buffering.

HOW TO DESTROY A STOLEN PHONE      Are you anguished over your missing/stolen phone? Destroy the phone and render it useless to the thief by following these steps.

Firstly, you should have your phone’s imei unique code written down  ( Dial *#06# on your mobile phone)

Pull a call across to your service provider and disclose details about your missing mobile phone and the unique code to them and the phone would be blocked. Irrespective of the sim card been changed the phone becomes dead and useless to the user.

HOW TO AVERT ATM THEFT     Sometimes, when attacked by robbers/bandits and no valuables are found on you, they force you to lease off your ATM card and pin so as to gain access to your bank savings.

When disclosing or entering your pin under the gun influence, disclose it in the reversal form. i.e  if your pin is 1234, the reversal form would be 4321.

The ATM system has been configured to recognize that your pin number has been entered backwards on the slotted ATM card. It will debit your account and release the cash as requested but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately notified and dispatched to the location.

2.      CODE MAILS- Code mails involves the use of secret key word known to two or more private individuals to exchange encrypted mails to each other. The sent messages cannot be read without the key, the sender encodes a particular message with a key and the recipient would also need to make use of the key before he/she can decode the message.

3.       SILENT SENDER- Send mails to a confidante from your personal computer or mobile gadgets to a secret partner anonymously. Your messages can only be read by your intended recipient with the use of silentsender

4.       BLACK SMS

Black sms is a paid IOS application that enables individuals to send and receive messages in an encrypted mode. The iphone app converts messages into vague pictures that can be sent via text messages to the recipient and to view the coded message behind the image, the image would need to be uploaded back into the app for it to be converted back to messages. This method is carried out by only iphone users.

    

  5.  WICKR

It is a free application unlike black sms that is responsible for sending encrypted messages in form of texts, audios, pictures and videos. With wickr you can send private messages to friends and loved ones or that lady you checking on. *Winks* It is available for iphones presently and sooner or later the android version would be available.

6.       OFF –WEB

This method still remains the best way to protect that secret of yours from been leaked out to intruders. Almost everything that has to do with the web can be cracked or hacked. Why not put your pen to paper and pass  that secret message to your confidante

STEPS  TAKEN  IN CREATING  A  WI-FI  HOTSPOT  IN  WINDOWS  7

ð  With your mouse, locate the windows taskbar

ð  Locate the wifi/network signal icon on the task bar and click on it

ð  Click on open and network sharing center

ð  From the lists chose set up a new connection or network

ð  A pop-up window would be revealed in which you can choose a network option

ð  From the list chose the “set up a wireless ad-hoc(Computer-to- computer network)

ð  A pop-up window which entails blanks for your network name, security options and a security key(password)

ð  After inputting the above details, tick the "save this network" box and then click on the NEXT button

ð  A pop-up window would display a ready to use wifi connection. To make your computer a perfect wifi hotspot it’s required you turn on the internet connection sharing.

Now, your hotspot is ready for use, once an internet connection is available, you can search and connect  any wifi enabled device to your computer system.

HOW TO FIX A FREEZED IPHONE

Occasionally we are faced with our iphone hanged or freezed  when carrying out certain operations on the phone. Few dys back an iphone was brought to my desk, it was freezed and  the owner was scared of losing some of his recent added items and his question to me was “can you please help me fix this phone and please help restore the phone  back to its normal state without losing my contents?”

 Android, symbian and java phones when freezed can be easily rectified by holding on to the SWITCH OFF button or removing the battery from the phone and fixed back again but the iphone’s SWITCH OFF button is disabled at the freezed state and the battery is un-detachable.

I want share with you the little tweak I applied in restoring back the freezed iphone to its normal state with all it contents intact.

ð  Firstly, hold down these two buttons- the HOME button and the SLEEP/WAKE button located at the top right side of the device simultaneously.

ð  Keep holding down the buttons until the phone resets and the white apple logo appears on a blank screen. Immediately after the white logo appears, let go off the keys as the iphone reboots and return to its lock state

ð  Unlock your device and access your Home screen

With the above procedures your Iphone device would be restored without you losing any saved file.

If the above process failed then

ð   Connect your iphone device to your computer

ð  Launch itunes

ð  Locate the summary tab, click on it and back up your device.

ð  Click on the restore button to restore to factory settings

This, aids to restore you’re your phone to its factory settings but will erase your contacts, messages, videos, audios and calendars.  After the restoration, restore the missing information by syncing with itunes.

With whatsapp been a popular mobile app that aids individuals to keep in touch with their loved ones through text messages with its free sms plans. 

REQUIREMENTS

ð  Personal  computer ( MAC or WINDOWS OS)

ð  Minimum of 1GB RAM size for youwave & 2GB for bluestacks

ð  Minimum of 500MB disk space

ð  Bluestacks / Youwave

ð  A working phone that can receive both sms and phone calls

HOW TO INSTALL WHATSAPP ON PC USING BLUESTACKS

First and foremost it is required you download Bluestacks application which I wrote on in one of my previous posts- RUN ANDROID APPLICATIONS ON WINDOWS AND MAC PC

. Once bluestacks is downloaded, next is to install by double clicking on the file- a welcome screen would be displayed, click on the CONTINUE button and then the INSTALL button.

When you have bluestack installed in your computer already, you can run/execute the application and the below screen-shot would be displayed on your screen.

Then

ð  Locate the right top of the application and click on the search icon (blue magnifying glass and a search window display

ð  Input “whatsapp”  without the inverted comma’s into the search window and search by clicking on the find button.

ð  Amongst the search results click on whatsapp messenger and it will download and install your desired whatsapp application

ð  Go to My Apps and locate whatsapp and click on it to run

N.B – These approach can also be used in installing other mobile apps on pc.

HOW TO INSTALL WHATSAPP ON PC USING YOUWAVE

ð  Download  Youwave or http://youwave.com/download.html   and install.

ð  Run/execute  youwave application

ð  Locate the left top panel and click on view

ð  From its drop-down menu click on online content and it will display online apps

ð  Locate whatsapp and double click on it for it to download and install

ð  Go to view on the top left panel and click on Apps

ð  Double click on whatsapp icon to launch

HOW TO CONFIGURE WHATSAPP ON PC

ð  Select your Country

ð  Confirm your Country code, input your phone number and click on verify

ð  Number would be verified by either sms or phone call if sms failed and a verification pin would be given.

ð  Input your verification pin on the available box

ð  After the verification of your number another blank box would appear, insert your desired username and click ok

i) Get some free apps from the android market such as 2x battery and advance task killer for battery management and task management.
ii) Always kill the task usage of your device with the aid of advance task killer.
iii) Clear the RAM as frequent as possible.
iv) Disable blue-tooth and wi-fi when not in use.
v) Disable background apps. { Go to MENU=>SETTINGS=>ACCOUNTS AND SYNC=>BACKGROUND DATA. Then un-tick the box}
vi) Be conscious of the applications installed by installing only very important apps. Also ensure less apps are installed on your device.
vii) Avoid the use of live wallpapers. This consumes much of your battery and could also crash your device.
viii) Turn off your data connection when retiring to bed.
ix) The use of pattern lock should be enabled in securing your device.
x) Adjust your screen's brightness to a lower resolution { Go to MENU=>SETTINGS=>DISPLAY=>BRIGHTNESS}

     These few tricks has helped a lot in conserving my battery life and if adhered to, will aid increase the battery life of your Android device.
