US army and Lockheed Martin design an Autonomous Convoy system

With the aim of providing safety and security of human drivers in a convoy mission by having a cab without the control of a soldier, 2 research and design corporations- The US Army Tank-Automotive Research Development and Engineering center (TARDEC) and Lockheed Martin Global Security and Aerospace Company were able to design a hardware and software that can autonomously navigate through obstacles in both urban and rural region.
A demonstration was carried out last month (January, 2014). At Fort Hood, Texas to test the design and it was confirmed to be able to navigate through real world obstacles such as oncoming traffic, road intersections, stalled and moving vehicles, pedestrians and traffic circles.
According to David Simon, AMAS program Manager for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control: " The AMAS CAD hardware and software performed exactly as designed and dealt successfully with all of the real-world obstacles that a real-world convoy would encounter.."

Having a driverless car has been on research by Google Incorporated, Toyota and Audi and soon the globe would be hit with this new tech design.
So, I guess you wouldn't be amazed when you see a convoy of multiple types of vehicles passing bye.

How to downgrade BBM 8 to BBM7

Blackberry messenger (BBM) 8 which was recently rolled out at the late days of November as an update to BBM 7 is one app that is packaged with extra functionalities.

=» when the OS version is noted, visit www.theiexplorers.com/OTA/ and download the BBM app in accordance to your OS version.

Google+ custom URL

Google plus,(Google+) a social networking platform rolled out a service whereby custom URLs are allocated to its users. This was officially announced through Otavio Silva's page on the 30th of October explaining the advantages of custom URL and criteria's that grant eligibility for a google plus profile and pages. It stated "custom URLs are short, easy to rememmber web addresses that link directly to your Google profile or page( like google.com/+OtaviaSilva or google.com/+Toyota)"
It was further elaborated as an easier way to connect with others and promote contents.

CRITERIA FOR CREATING A CUSTOM URL
Before you could be eligible for a Google+ custom URL, you must
I. Have a profile photo
II. Have at least 10 follower
III. Have an account that's at least 30 days old.

Once eligible, a message would be sent to your google mail address with your full names combined to provide you a custom URL and a link to claim your URL address. If you meet the criteria and yet to receive a mail, then visit your profile/page to check for the in-product notice if your custom URL is ready but if not yet ready you would have to wait a little while your custom URL is made ready.

This custom URL is rolled out to make users easily remember their google profile/page so as to find it easy when sharing on your websites, emails or other social sites such as facebook, linkedin, etc and this medium also allows friends and loved ones who have the number used in claiming/verifying your google profile to find you on Google+.
