KNOW THE ACTOR/ACTRESS IN THAT MOVIE- GOOGLE PLAY MOVIE/TV APP

Wish to know that actor/actress and his biographies as you watch a movie? Google has made it available. Information's about the movie are displayed while watching your favorite movies on the Google play movies or Tv android application.

You certainly don't need to visit the Google search engine for the actor/actress of that movie you watched to have a knowledge of the actor, get to know him as you watch. Google displays info cards on the movies or Tv apps when it is paused.

Information such as the actor/actress name, their roles played in the movie, biographies, name of the song played in the movie and related movies acted by individual actors/actress are displayed. By tapping on a certain actor/actress face, his/her profiles are displayed

GOOGLE UNVEILS SAME DAY DELIVERY E-COMMERCE SHOPPING

Google unveiled a same day delivery shopping express in San Francisco region, which allows local residents place orders on their desired items and get it delivered same day.
Google who is with this, pulling up a competition with the world's largest online retailer- Amazon .com by acquiring a company that delivers e-commerce goods to retailers(BufferBox) in November last year are so desperate in  expanding their line of business in service to humanity and stay glued in touching the globe with it's home of technology.

Google has offered a 6 months free delivery for purchased goods but yet to reveal the price at which the delivery would be made available to local retailers.
 With the inclusion of Raley's Nob Hill Foods, the Francisco's blue bottle coffee, american Eagles, Walgreens, Palo Alto sport shop and toy world in the google shopping express service, local retailers can now place orders and be sure of their goods been delivered same day. As time goes on, the service would be expanded to a wider coverage as stated by the product management director, Tom Fallows.

PRINT FILES/IMAGES DIRECTLY FROM YOUR ANDROID AND IOS DEVICE

Surprised?   Pondering on how possible it is to print out your files and images from your android and IOS devices without needing to transfer them to your personal computer or removing the SD card? This process has been a great disadvantage to  mobile users but with google’s innovation- the Google cloud print, printing from your mobile device directly to your local printer is life at it’s peak.

                To carry out this task, a local printer should be made available and connected to a computer with google chrome installed on it. Sign into your google and if you have none, then you will need to sign up.  Go to your google chrome, click on the google menu icon on the toolbar.  

        

Click on settings => Advanced settings. Locate the google cloud print at the bottom of the list and click on the add printers button.  Options are given on the type of printer to be used but to make use of your local printer, classic printer is selected.

                After the selection of the classic printer, the next page would reveal where to  add your printers,  click on add your printer and google would automatically acquire the printers installed on your computer and notify those online or offline. Now your google cloud print is set up and you are ready to print your documents.  Click on the print button on the screen to select a document to print or select other ways to print and this will re-direct you to a page that would reveal the applications that can be used to google print  with either your android or IOS device.

ii)                   EASYPRINT- This is a print application that supports the use of more than one google account simultaneously.  It stores list of printers in local storage of the device.   With easy print, you can print out your emails, webpages, photos, pdf files,e.t.c

iii)                 PRINTJINNI- it is a wireless  mobile printing application that also supports the printing of pdf files, Ms office docs, emails, photos, e.t.c

Increase the battery life of your android phone

It's a well known fact that android phones posses a low battery life. Almost all android users are interested on how to increase the battery life of their devices and i want to share a little secret on it.
From my experience gathered in the use of Android phones such as google 1(G1), samsung galaxy S1 and S3, i could tell you that i have been able to conserve my battery usage with these few tips even with my constant internet access, calls, messaging,audio listening and games. it has helped grown a productive web presence.

HOW TO INCREASE YOUR ANDROID PHONE BATTERY'S LIFE

i) Get some free apps from the android market such as 2x battery and advance task killer for battery management and task management.
ii) Always kill the task usage of your device with the aid of advance task killer.
iii) Clear the RAM as frequent as possible.
iv) Disable blue-tooth and wi-fi when not in use.
v) Disable background apps. { Go to MENU=>SETTINGS=>ACCOUNTS AND SYNC=>BACKGROUND DATA. Then un-tick the box}
vi) Be conscious of the applications installed by installing only very important apps. Also ensure less apps are installed on your device.
vii) Avoid the use of live wallpapers. This consumes much of your battery and could also crash your device.
viii) Turn off your data connection when retiring to bed.
ix) The use of pattern lock should be enabled in securing your device.
x) Adjust your screen's brightness to a lower resolution { Go to MENU=>SETTINGS=>DISPLAY=>BRIGHTNESS}

     These few tricks has helped a lot in conserving my battery life and if adhered to, will aid increase the battery life of your Android device.
