In the new BBM version, features such as channels which grants exclusive access to your favorite personalities, teams, bands, blogs, etc; groups- this aids in providing a platform where like minds or people of same goal could meet on the BBM network and share ideas and opinions.
The new BBM update which has a colourful backround and improved features is yet to be accepted by many due to it's slow response and its freezing power on blackberry devices.
Today I would be revealing the earlier BBM version of each rim OS to those who've updated and would also love to downgrade to BBM 7 and how to revert to the earlier version(bbm7).
HOW TO DOWNGRADE YOUR BBM 8 TO BBM 7
=» Go to Menu
=» Select set up on your Menu icons
=» Locate Blackberry Protect and backup your contacts
=» After backup is complete, return to Menu
=» Select 'Options' -> 'Device' -> 'Application Management'
=» Locate Blackberry Messenger and delete it
=» when delete is complete, it will ask for your device to be restarted
=» After your device restarts, from the menu icons locate Options
=» Select Options and Click 'About Device Versions' to view your
Blackberry OS version
=» when the OS version is noted, visit www.theiexplorers.com/OTA/ and download the BBM app in accordance to your OS version.
=» After download completed click on it and run and wait as it installs..
=» Take off the battery and re-insert when fully installed.
Now you can enjoy BBM without freezes or slow response.
