*GOOGLE HANGOUT- This is a video-chat service that
embraces face-2-face group discussion. It is a free and powerful service
schemed out of Google+. It is a great tool for video conferences with its clear
and sharp pictures which enables video-chat with up to ten (10) individuals at
once. I love its video quality and
stability, which is one feature every organization would love to have when
holding that conference meeting.
You can also share pictures as of you hang-out
with your crew. That’s a great benefit to your organization or that business
minded individuals as photos of events, progress work could be shared and also you-tube
videos could be watched while chatting.
You don’t necessarily need a laptop or desktop to be
a part of the conference team because with your mobile devices: android phone;
ipad; iphone; ipod touch, tablets you can be a part of the conference wherever
your location .
Thinking
about making your conference video public or you want to host a public
discussion with people of same business interests? Google hangout is your best
tool. Your recorded videos are made available on your youtube channel making it
possible for it to be shared with subscribed and also made public on Google+
and even with your chrome browser, you are good to go. With these features,
Google hangout gained the first position on my list.
*SKYPE- A free voip service which was founded in the
year 2003 by some Estonian programmers and was later purchased by Microsoft in
the year 2011. Since the purchase by microsoft great features has been added to
the voip software that has earned it a value of 50million active users as at January,
2013. Skype is a great tool for video conferencing and has been the choice of
every organization before and after the emergence of Hangout with its enabled
group chat, screen cast and video chat. It also offers sharing of files with
the conference room. The feature I love most in skype is the screen-cast feature
which enables you to share your computer screen with your video-chat clients.
This feature is unknown to most skype users but a great tool for business
individuals as it helps them to share ideas, presentation and work progress to
each other while in the on a video conference section.
Skype is popularly known for free
telephone calls within registered users, instant messaging and low cost calls
too mobile and land phones. It is a great tool to give your business a global
presence.
*ANYMEETING- You wish to organize webinars or share
presentations with individuals of like business ideas then anymeeting could
save you the stress. Anymeeting voip service provides support for 200
participants on its video conference room. With it you could introduce paid
webinars whereby interested candidates can purchase tickets through the
integrated paypal module and be a part of your organized webinar.
Just
like skype, anymeeting also supports screencast, facebook and twitter services
thereby creating room to promote your recorded tutorials or conference meeting
over social networks. It is a free service but suppoets adverts. To enjoy
anymeeting without the display ads bugging, then the paid version is worthwhile
at $18/month and $78/month for 25 and 200 participants respectively.
