This rumour that has been talked about for months gained confirmation
by the corporate vice-president; Erik Hughers when speaking at Dive
into Media on tuesday.
He confirmed that works has been on for about a year now, in setting
up a group known as INTEL MEDIA. A group which has brought in people
from various top technology companies such as Apple, Netflix and
google with a strong aim of building an internet television platform.

therefore, the huge project which includes not only live internet
television but catch-up tv, on-demand programming and apps as well,
will take time although, the service and box is planned to be launched
by the end of the year.
