cross platform messenger supports not all Nokia phones but mostly S60 versions
(Symbians) and few S40 versions (Java) such as C3-00; C3-01; X2-01; X2-00; X3-02 and the Asha
families and this would lead us to getting to know HOW to keep in touch with
our friends with whatsApp in all Nokia S40 versions(Java) .
To carry
out this tutorial the following items are needed:-

Memory Card
ii.
Nokia S40
iii.
WhatsApp installer file
HOW TO INSTALL WHATSAPP ON A NOKIA S40 (JAVA) PHONES
ð
Download the whatsApp installer file
ð
Extract the above file
ð
Create a new folder in your memory card and copy
or move the extracted files into it.
ð
Access your Applications in your phone Menu and
locate your Memory card and copy into games or apps, then delete the folder off
your memory card
ð
Run your whatsApp, register your number and keep
in touch with those friends you’ve longed to.
NB- Some S40 phones do not copy, then move.
WhatsApp
messenger uses same data plan and connection with your phone browser.

Not working for Nokia Asha 308 :( any other app or suggestions for this phone?
Nokia Asha 308 has been configured for Asha as early as february, 2013. To be able to enjoy whatsapp on your phone visit the nokia ovi store and download it. It is available @ the ovi store and it would work perfectly for your Nokia Asha 308. Thanks
After I installed the app says that certificate is not found on phone or SIM, where can i download the certificate, I am using nokia 3120classic and firewire 10.0, and no more updates are available to my phone

Go to Menu -> Settings -> Security -> Authority Certificates to find out the missing certificate
hi, i followed the procedure but it gives me the response, application not compatible, and also i copied two files into the folder, only one shows up when i access it from the phone. any suggestions
@Prince Evans Kingsley Hayford go to the details of the one showing and check if it's jar, if it is then double click on it to install but if it still pops up error, visit the ovi store and download it. it will be downloaded to your memory card if there's any on your phone. then u can access it better. thanks
