adverts business transactions between Facebook Inc. and Microsoft Corp. has gained approval from the U.S Antitrust authorities as Googcle In. is set to stand strong competition from Facebook.
Facebook, on the 28th of Feb., proclaimed it's interest in acquiring Microsoft's atlas advertising platform in order to create it's advertising network that would incur an in-depth competition with Google in the online adverts displaying.
Microsoft acquired atlas in the year 2007 as part of it's purchase of aQuantitative for the sum of $6billion and after talks with facebook are ready to run a partnership deal with the California based company, so as to create a strong rivalry for Google Inc. According to Dave o' Hara, microsoft still remains an Atlas user.
The director of monetization products marketing- Brian Boland said in an interview, that with this deal, facebook would be able to maintain the performance of their ads-services on both it's own services and other third-party websites to aid advertisers in creating better campaigns inclusive of it's own service as Mark Zuckerberg yearns towards increasing the company's revenue.
