HUAWEI ASCEND P6- THE WORLD’S SLIMMEST SMARTPHONE

Among the top smart phone producers: Samsungelectronics, Apple incorporated, High Tech computers (HTC), Research inmotion(RIM), Nokia, etc Huawei seem to be creating a catchy awareness with its latest device unveiled in London on the 18^th of June.

  The just unveiled smartphone was declared by the leading Global ICT solution provider as the world’s slimmest smart phone measured at 6.18mm thin, powered by a 1.5GHz quad core  processor and packaged into a metallic body designed for both human genders. The device which is in the black, white and pink color could be shared as pink or white for the ladies and the black or white for the men.

   The Hauwei ascend P6 unlike its predecessor (Hauwei ascend P2) is featured by a 5MP front camera with a f2.0 aperture to produce a good low light performance. Although the ascend P2 which was once nicknamed the world’s fastest phone functioning at a network speed of about 150Mbps is still powered by same 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 1080p full HD video recording and playback possessed by the world’s thinnest smart phone (Ascend P6)

 Hauwei ascend P6 operates on android 4.2.2 OS version with a 1.5GHz quad-core  cortex A9 processor; a front camera of 5MP and a rear camera of 8MP; an internal storage disk of 8GB; 2GB RAM size; 3G and wi-fi enabled; 1280x720 screen resolution; a weight of 120g which makes it a few grams lesser compared to the Galaxy Nexus; a 6.18mm slimness and a 2000mAh battery stated to have 30% optimization and power saving technology compared to its equals.

    The huawei device is capable of simultaneously taking both a standard shot and a High Dynamic Range shot with its 8 mega pixel camera which is of a lesser pixels compared to the ascend P2, that i wonder why huawei did and I also begin to wonder why huawei never made it a 4G lite internet capable phone.

      Amongst its pre-installed apps such as google map it comes with the Google music app that entails an mp3 store where desired music could be purchased and also support uploading of personal music album for free

THE TRUE STORY BEHIND COSMONAUT YURI GAGARIN’s DEATH

Are you wondering who goes by the name Yuri Gagarin or you doing some brain-storming to recollect?  Guess you missed history classes or were busy playing super Mario or bricks during history class.

Soviet Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin was the first human to be in space but died a mysterious death according to his fellow cosmonauts on march, 1968.

 The earlier story line disclosed that in an attempt to avoid an unknown object (like geese or a hot air balloon) by creating a maneuver that led to a tailspin and which led to a collision with the ground brought about the death of Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin and instructor Vladimir seryogin. 

The death of Yuri which was also responsible for the retirement of cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova- the first woman to visit space, as it brought fears to the Russian government, been scared of losing another high profiled personality of same field as Yuri.

The 40 years held secret behind the death Yuri Gagarin was unveiled by a fellow cosmonaut, Aleksey Lenov (the first man to perform a space-walk) after been denied the approval to disclose accurate details of the sad event that occurred in the year 1968.

 Aleksey Lenov, a member of the state commission established to run investigations on the incident that claimed the life of two Russian scientists stated in his disclosed details that a human factor with names withheld was behind the accident although the incident was un-intentional.

 An SU-15 fighter jet scheduled for test at an altitude of 10,000m and above flew at 500m instead and close to cosmonaut Yuri’s jet, thereby, re-positioned the plane and then sent it into a tailspin at a 750km/hr speed rate which led to the crashing of Yuri’s aircraft.

CHINESE TO UNVEIL THE FASTEST COMPUTER IN THE WORLD

On the 26^th of November, Tianhe-1, nicknamed milkyway 1 was revealed to

the public as the 5^th fastest super-computer and between October 2010 to June 2011 it had a little upgrade (Tianhe-1A) to stay as the fastest computer in the world with a sped of 2.566 petaflops. The Tianhe-1A which comprises of 112 computer cabinets, 12 storage cabinets, 6 communication cabinets and 8 I/O cabinets was developed by the Chinese National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) in Changsha, Human got overthrown as the fastest computer by the Japan developed K computer (“kei” which means 10 quadrillion)

Now the Chinese are it again with the new Tianhe-2 super computer also known as milkyway 2 which operates at a speed of 30.7 petaflops per second.

The super-computer which runs kylin linux is to be unveiled at the international super-computing conference next week has been declared to likely stay at the Top 500 super-computers list with its incredible speed.

Tianhe-2  is to be conveyed to the Chinese National Super-computer centre in Changsha by the end of the year so as to enable use in processing large data, simulation for testing airplanes and aids in governmental research and security with its storage of 12.4PB and a total memory of 1.4PB; 32000 Intel ivy bridge xeon sockets and a 48000 xeon phi boards to arrive at a total of 312000 cores according to the university of Tennessee professor, Prof. Jack Dongara.
